THE BIBLE (Genesis 1, combined with the genealogies) indicates that the earth is @6,000 years old. The unbelieving evolutionists, however, and the similar old-earth proponents, claim that all things formed by accident, and form the same way as each other throughout time, so that the present processes (at least the present process[es] that they choose to cite) must be those that throughout all of history “and prehistory” formed everything we see around us now. They refer to their claim as, “Uniformitarianism.”
However, they inexplicably abandon that idea when it’s debunked by currently-observed processes that defy their narrative. That tendency is variously referred to as, “Cherry-picking,” “Selective reasoning,” “Confirmation bias,” “Eclecticism,” or, “Hypocrisy.”
